Tuition and Scholarships
Acorn Village is committed to an intentional education of nature connection, emotional intelligence, and resilience building for the youngest members of our community. It is important to us that this education model is available to all despite socio-economic status. One of the challenges in a program like ours is compensating our teachers who are asked to be experts in early childhood development, mini naturalists, and parenting. As you can imagine, a lot is asked of them, even more than other early childhood programs, and we are committed to offering a competitive salary in our field that honors the extraordinary work they do and ensures that they can continue learning and growing and stay in our program.
Tiered Tuition Schedule
Root Level
This level covers the operational costs including teacher salaries and teacher training for one child at Acorn Village.
Trunk Level
This level covers the tuition/operational costs for one child at Acorn Village and provides 50% of the tuition/operating costs for another child to attend Acorn Village.
Canopy Level
This level covers the tuition/operational costs and teacher salary fees for one child at Acorn Village and provides 100% of the tuition for another child to attend Acorn Village.
Income Limits
Please take a look at this chart. If your family income falls into one of the low categories, please contact us for a scholarship application. If your family income falls into the moderate category or higher, we ask that you consider paying one of the higher tiers. In addition, any amount above the Root Level tuition even if it does not fall into the other tiers helps sustain our program and is also tax deductible since Acorn Village is a non- profit organization. Imagine what we could create if just every family gave that tiny bit extra.
Acorn Village Tuition Tiers 25/26 School Year
Two days/week:
Root Level: $6,600/year or $660/month
Trunk Level: $9,600/year or $960/month*
Canopy Level: $12,600/year or $1,260/month*
Three days/week:
Root Level: $7,900/year or $790/month
Trunk Level: $10,900/year or $1,090/month*
Canopy Level: $13,900/year or $1,390/month*
Four days/week:
Root Level: $9,500/year or $950/month
Trunk Level: $12,500/year or $1,250/month*
Canopy Level: $15,500/year or $1,550/month*
Kindergarten: (4 days/week):
Root Level: $10,500/yearly or $1,050/month
Trunk Level: $13,500 yearly or $1,350/month*
Canopy Level: $16,500/yearly or $1,650/month*
*Any amount above the root level tuition is considered a donation and is tax deductible.
