Tracy Roberts, MA in Child Development presents parenting workshops on a wide range of topics from discipline to the influence of media on the young child.  The underlying premise of Tracy's philosophy is that children are competent and deserving of respect and guidance over punishment. She recognizes that we as parents have the hardest and most important job in the world of raising the next generation and the importance of parenting with long term goals in mind instead of simply short term compliance.  She presents ways for win/win solutions and not simply falling into the permissive or authoritarian models of parenting.
